Goiânia Art Déco Festival

The Goiânia Art Déco Festival is an annual event that has been taking place since 2018 and is currently in its 6th edition, scheduled to be held from August to December 2023. The purpose of this event is to promote culture and preserve the art deco architecture in the city of Goiânia, considered the art deco capital.

The event aims to stimulate the development of artistic skills and interests in children and adolescents, as well as the local artistic and cultural production, through the creation of artworks inspired by the twenty-two (22) monuments listed by Iphan in the city of Goiânia.

The 'Goiânia Art Déco Festival' has, among its objectives, to promote cultural tourism in the city and strengthen its importance as the capital of Art Déco. The proposal seeks to foster discussion about the preservation and conservation of Goiânia's Art Déco architectural heritage and promote integration among local artists, technicians, historians, and the community.
